Dsip spray 5 mg This is a research formulation containing DSIP, or Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide – a short neuropeptide described in the scientific literature as a nonapeptide associated with research into central nervous system activity, the regulation of biological rhythms and the mechanisms of slow-wave sleep. This compound was originally isolated from the cerebral venous blood of rabbits and has since been analysed as a reference peptide in neurochemical and neuroendocrine studies.

Chemically, DSIP is a nonapeptide with the sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu. Its molecular formula is C35H48N10O15, and its molecular weight is approximately 848.8 g/mol. Owing to its small peptide structure, DSIP is used in research investigating the relationship between peptide structure, molecular stability and the biological activity observed in experimental models.

Scope of research into Dsip spray
