IPAMORELIN 2 mg reagent - characteristics
Ipamorelin 2 mg is a synthetic research peptide included in the group of selective growth hormone secretagogues. The molecule consists of five amino acid residues and is identified by the sequence Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH₂, which forms the basis of its structural classification as a short pentapeptide with receptor activity within the ghrelin system. In experimental studies Ipamorelin 2 mg is primarily analysed in the context of receptor activation GHS-R / ghrelin receptor, regulation of growth hormone secretion and the relationship between receptor selectivity and endocrine response.
In the scientific literature, the peptide Ipamorelin 2 mg is described primarily in terms of mechanisms related to the stimulation of the secretion of the GH with relatively limited effects on other hormonal axes. Classical studies indicated that ipamorelin increased the release of growth hormone in vitro i in vivo, while exhibiting greater selectivity than some of the earlier GHRPs, without significantly stimulating the ACTH i cortisol to the same extent as less selective compounds of this class. It is this profile of selectivity that is one of the main reasons for the interest in ipamorelin in axonal physiology research GH.
An important area of scientific interest also remains the relationship between activity Ipamorelin 2 mg and ghrelin receptor and pathways regulating gastrointestinal motility and metabolism. In the publications, ipamorelin was described as a ghrelin mimetic, and some preclinical studies have analysed its effects not only on GH secretion, but also on gastrointestinal function, including gastric emptying and postoperative bowel motility. In parallel, it is indicated that this compound has played an important role as a reference for the development of subsequent GHS-R receptor agonists.

From a scientific characterisation perspective, the following are among the main research strengths Ipamorelin 2 mg include its small molecule size, its well-described sequence and its clear embedding in the literature as a selective GH secretagogue. At the same time, the available studies show that most of the data relate to preclinical and pharmacological studies, so the interpretation of the results should take into account the experimental nature of this molecule and the fact that its scientific relevance is mainly due to studies on the performance of the GH/GHS-R, rather than from widely developed modern clinical trials.
