Melanotan 2 10 mg is a synthetic research peptide belonging to the group of melanocortin analogues, described in the literature as a derivative of the α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). In experimental studies Melanotan 2 10 mg is analysed primarily in the context of activation of the melanocortin system, pigmentation-related processes and receptor-dependent neurobiological mechanisms of this group.
